What we collect

We collect the minimum necessary to provide the service:

• Account data: your email address and hashed password.
• Course & module content: the topics, courses, and modules you create.
• Learning profile: optional bio, knowledge levels, and AI-generated insights derived from module feedback you submit.
• Payment data: billing is handled entirely by Stripe. We store only your Stripe customer ID — we never see or store card details.

How we use it

Your data is used solely to operate Hugo — generating courses personalised to you, tracking your progress, and processing payments. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising.

Third-party services

• Anthropic — AI course generation (content you enter is sent to the Claude API).
• Tavily — web search used during course generation.
• Stripe — payment processing.

Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account exists.
